Tim Rawcliffe.jpg

Tim Rawcliffe
Lancashire Care NHS Trust
Service User Researcher

Tim joined the PARTNERS2 project in January 2015, having previously been employed by the Mental Health Research Network in the North West of England as Service User Development Officer, promoting and supporting service user involvement in National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) studies. His early academic career aspirations were disrupted by mental health and alcohol problems, and he spent many years undertaking voluntary activities within the area of mental health, punctuated by spells in psychiatric in-patient facilities, detox units and under local community mental health teams. Tim's role in PARTNERS2 involves bringing both research understanding and personal appreciation of mental health problems to play in the current project, with a passionate hope that the outcome will bring about real benefits for those experiencing difficulties.
